@alice There are many things i'd like to improve in guix to make this easier. Bash-minimal is a huge problem. Many packages need it and it's a blocking point for them... we should make it available for mingw to really unleash the cross-compilation potential.
In my case, Zig helped but it's not a silver bullet, as it can't replace complex configure scripts easily (like the ones you can find in GUI frameworks).

I still need to research further!

@anthk The ahotts generates samples, you can store them or play them. You decide.

In my application I send the audio to OpenAL directly and it doesn't store it in a file.

The problem with Guix is it adds all the dependencies to the pack, and that makes the packs really large. I didn't test on window, but it might be interesting.

Bash-minimal is a huge problem, it's the most limiting step to the cross-compilation to mingw...
