I spent a couple of hours figuring out why my wireless device was disabled. Tried an ext dongle, same.
- Tried a different kernel
- build iwlwifi and debug it
- Tried different TLP conf
- modified thinkpad_acpi
- rfkill hammering..
I just had Wi-Fi disabled from NetworkManager 🤣

I'm not a professional writer/speaker but I firmly believe that if you write a Talk proposal for a conference that's a couple of sentences, you are doing it wrong. You can be an expert on the topic, but still a proposal is like a pitch, you need to show the readers the importance of your talk, and why it's relevant for the conference (1/2)
