    Most would point to the lack of the "standard" proprietary apps as the reason why #Linux still has a small marketshare on the desktop. So, the question is: does Linux need more proprietary software to grow and be suitable for everyone, or should we keep to free and #opensource software to ensure these applications get better, faster?

      @thelinuxEXP Yes. DaVinci Resolve being the best video editor on Linux (as long as you can get it working) is an example.
