   There is a lot of videos showing "the daily life of a software engineer", but most of then are actually daily life of an influencer who is also software engineer.

   Because I don't see anything about fighting bugs and weird unspecified features which are needed now for this release and are pretty urgent. Just fancy desks with fancy lights and fancy coffee machines.

     Regular software developer here: I start my day with a coffee and Hearthstone game if I don't have anything pending and waiting for me until daily meeting. I fight bugs since 8AM to 2PM, lunch, and then back to the battle until 5PM. Sometimes I create bugs too.

     No fancy setup, just a keyboard, mouse, regular paper notebook and regular pen.
