   I can hardly defend twitter, Russia or China at all but, really, seeing European, US and Canadian press complaining because their public news accounts on twitter are now labelled as state funded is funny because when it happened to Russian or Chinese media they didn't complain. Now that it's happening to them they do. Ironic.

     @joxean but if they are state funded they are state funded. I don't know what's the deal with that honestly.

     The fact that they are state funded is public and widely known.

     I guess they think twitter is implying they are being controlled by the gov, but it's just up to them show they are independent and serious journalists... isn't it ?
