    @jsalvador Learn all of them.

    Scala is interesting for many applications and Clojure too.
    It's a matter of taste but both are fantastic.

    If you have time, you should learn Scheme first because it will enable the other two. Read the SICP and you'll learn a lot from what's going to appear in both Scala and Clojure when you reach them.

    Scheme has not that many uses in the industry but it's a great source of knowledge about languages.

      @jsalvador I did the other way around. I learned Clojure first and then Scheme and I then understood where did clojure come from.

      SICP is a really hard book. If you really want to understand it deeply. It's pretty challenging.
      And that's fantastic.
      Give it a go. It's free:

      (there's also available in their official website and there are spanish translations out there too (there are also javascript translations LOL))

      @ekaitz_zarraga I'll be off for a while, so I have time to investigate, read and learn.

      Is the book written in JavaScript? wtf

      @jsalvador haha the original book uses MIT Scheme, but they translated the code to JS
