     @ekaitz_zarraga get Krita or aseprite for pixelarting and check ou the GUI suite play-clj offers
     all of the widgets work asyncronously and are rendered on a stage object, added automatically to it when created, so you don't have to call render! on them
     read up on how the widgets work and use them to your advantage, they're very powerful async tools
     also, they work with the 9-patch objects to make the boxes, so it's really easy to get themeing right

     @ekaitz_zarraga oh, also, play-clj just wraps the java GUI stuff, so you can access the java objects directly too if you find something is missing from the interface
