Do I really need font-awesome at my website? I only need 4 icons, so I can made it using Inkscape, or just download the SVG icons from Freepik and use them.

@jsalvador I made the same a while ago. Removed all external dependencies and move to inline svg.
Best decision I ever made.
@ekaitz_zarraga @jsalvador great for performance! almost everyone should do this, honestly. few use cases truly require a giant library of icons.
(i have to throw in that i met one of the founders? maybe? of Font Awesome at SustainOSS and he was incredibly nice. the only guy who seemed confident and non-awkward about making space for others in conversations.. idk if I would have gotten a word in if it hadn’t been for him
