@ekaitz_zarraga I like it a lot. I like KaseO's flow and the rhymes, I like the latin jazz vibe, and I like the "live" feel to it. And mixing jazz and rap. I featured the song in this Music Monday episode, commenting on precisely that: http://music.hcoder.org/music-monday/posts/2019-03-11-boogaloo.html
I even bought the t-shirt with the "solo para que te enteres..." 😂
Not sure if that's what you expected as an answer because I'm not sure why you're asking 😄
@ekaitz_zarraga I have the impression that it's nothing too advanced harmonically, but my ear is not good enough to figure it out. My impression is that it sounds so good because it's tasteful, well executed (good players), and fitting to the song.
I like eg. the emphasis in the "as" syllables around 1:29, and the syncopation and "esdrújula" syllables around 1:45. And the triplets around 2:02. And that there is a sax solo 😄
@estebanm @ekaitz_zarraga harmonically, as advanced as Bb. all along the song 😂 in the sax solo, there's some extra positions around the same Bb chord with ornaments, but that's all.
accents are everything here. as kaseO says in the interview i posted before, musicians in this album were requested to play like sequencers, but you know.. if they perform a loop, these great musicians make it the best loop possible 🤯
