     @ekaitz_zarraga @aral this kind of thing isn't at all uncommon in America, the only unusual factor is the school doesn't appear to be openly religious (in the Christian high schools, the lasses simply get banned from the yearbook until they "dress modestly", and the head teachers are unrepentant about enforcing these rules and often mention it to Christian media sites)

     I read somewhere that cops in the Franco area would harrass people on the beach who weren't dressed modestly; but that was in some 1980s UK newspaper so not sure how true it was.

     What is worse is the school itself is fairly high up in the league tables, they've managed to prevent multiple bomb threats and a shooting without anyone getting hurt so even an incident like this probably won't dent its popularity..
