   I wonder how big the plan9 kernel is? If it is small, i will write it in Common Lisp? That could be an amazing way to merge my two worlds (UNIX and Lisp) and finally leave Linux?

   I am like a lost, stateless space traveller stuck in the Linux space port right now. I need to get on a flight after getting asylum somewhere.

     @emacsen @vidak Hot take: Guix needs a better service manager more than it needs Hurd.More work on Shepherd would be very welcome.

     I dunno about Plan9 in CL, but I feel like if you said you wanted to rewrite the Hurd in Guile, you'd get some people very excited. #guix
