   I have to try that paredit for dummies but using Spacemacs with smartparens in evil-lisp-state. I suppose it will be the same. . @jeko Sorry, for the previous joke :D. Do you use evil-mode or no?

     @jeko So you think that paredit is much better than smartparens. I don't know, I've tried slurp and barf and it works exactly the same. I guess then there are more features where paredit is better than smartparens. Anyway I think I will keep using spacemacs for the moment.

     @jeko Maybe you did not see it because it is not specifically in the scheme layer. The reason is that it works for other languages non-lisp as well. https://develop.spacemacs.org/doc/DOCUMENTATION.html#editing-lisp-code
