     @AbbieNormal Yes, I always tell myself that I have to learn how to use Guix, but in the end I never do. Someday I suppose I will.

     my suggestion would be to install Guix the package manager on top of your favourite distro and use that for all your needs related to Guile

     I understand that this suggestion may seem apodictic

     of course I'm talking from my point of view

     @AbbieNormal For me the most important problem is the language, I will never be fluent in English. I almost always reply writing in Spanish and using https://www.deepl.com/
