@ekaitz_zarraga @Aurochs you can propose your idea in a university department. Younger people are arriving to universities and they have a wider view than the sometimes conservative academic view. I would send emails after doing some research about departments doing interesting stuff.

I finished my bachelor degree and after six months doing nothing I decided to come back to university to get my PhD. Again, I enjoyed a lot this period. I found amazing and brilliant people on my way and I suppose this makes a huge difference :owi:

You have to consider several things, particularly if you want to find foundings opportunities for your Phd (the probabilities of geting a grant or money for a project also deppend on the CV of your advisor and his team).
