A few days ago my 3yo kid cracked the stem of my flowering red onion plant (that I was hoping could give me seeds) by burying the flower in the raised sandbox.
Now the kid somehow decapitated the flower despite having promised not to do to it.
I'm hurt that it happened, because it's the only one of my three onions this year who flowered - the other two had their tops cut off intentionally, to promote onion growth.
3yo's are just unable to imagine consequences, aren't they?
