    My skepticism of #CarbonCapture technology stems from two things

    1. Thermodynamics & Entropy - It would need more energy to capture C02 than the energy used to release it in the first place. Even if the carbon capture system:s product life cycle has been designed to give a net C02 reduction, it would still mean we are channelling clean which could have been used elsewhere

      @ashwinvis I agree. We already have machinery to capture CO2, we call them trees. Also, nobody focuses on consumption. We have city lights at 3 AM, open freezers in supermarkets, new TVs every two years,... If we do not discourage premature obsolescence, discourage the subsidies to fossil fuels, etc, carbon concentration will increase as human population increases. We already have the tools, we do not need to reinvent the wheel.
