@ekaitz_zarraga I really like the tone of the video (almost empty from non-technical matters). Very insightful in general.
The authors do not challenge whether fork or something like fork because it is not in their *immediate* interest.
Also, they are deep into C-like paradigms. I do know how pascal does. In particular what #oberon, for instance regarding GC, and security matters (access rights, etc..).

I agree with you about the fact that if we are going to rewrite an OS, like the publication suggest, why not reconsider more things.
