@piggo @jacqueline Also, the pain and the lack of libs is pretty uncomfortable from the development perspective... I suffer it pretty often...

Also because the exact languages I mentioned have a very limited standard library where you have to do everything yourself.
Example: Guile has an http client that doesn't know about querystring encoding, base64, formdata...

@piggo @jacqueline I'm going to say something extremely controversial here but I experienced this in *all* the languages that have a package manager included.

The projects that don't tend to suffer from this are those where installing stuff and sharing the installation deps is hard.
In my experience: C, Scheme and few others fill this rule.
Zig still does, but when they make the package manager we'll see how everything will snowball.
