True, and if you're on Desktop then FreeTube ( https://github.com/FreeTubeApp/FreeTube ) is another good alternative too for watching videos, it lets you subscribe without an account too!

Alternatively you can view it on invidious ( https://invidio.us ) which doesn't track you, simply replace all the youtube or youtu.be stuff with invidio.us, you can keep the unique video identifier though.

So https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OEPsqFLhHBc becomes https://invidio.us/watch?v=OEPsqFLhHBc

So, google just released a new online 'app' for compressing pictures called Squoosh, I wouldn't use it if you could help it, as it's likely they'll farm all the metadata and actual data from the images that they can.

This is what they do, release tools everyone uses so that they can then use the data you give them.

Don't fall for it :)
