@ekaitz_zarraga Had the exact same experience last week. Spent all this time setting up something more complex and then it was solvable with a few lines of code.
It's kinda crazy that Fitbit still hasn't figured out making their watch straps last.
My grandma has had 3-4 Fitbits now and every time she gets a new one it's the strap that wears out.. from regular usage. She has even gotten the strap replaced within warranty a couple of times.
The product works, but if that strap isn't intentionally designed for planned obsolescence then I don't know what is real anymore.
At my old job we had an expression "small kings", which referenced a few problematic individuals.
They seem reasonable, and you largely agree with them, but the minute you say something they don't like they derail everything and you never get anywhere.
Can't argue with small kings, it's best just to avoid them.
@reynir@zatnosk I don't think that Guido cares what language it's in.
Even for the Python C code guidelines it says:"No line should be longer than 79 characters. If this and the previous rule together don't give you enough room to code, your code is too complicated"
Granted I think that policy is full of shit, but it's funny in this scenario :blobamused:
@ekaitz_zarraga@zatnosk while Danes often think less of Americans for buying food out all the time we also know that bakeries in Denmark have perfected the art of danishes and we don't even attempt to replicate it.
If you are reading this… congratulations you are alive. If that is not something to smile about, then I don't know what is.Sometimes the posts are in Danish. Posts expire after 90 days.
