The authors do not challenge whether fork or something like fork because it is not in their *immediate* interest.
Also, they are deep into C-like paradigms. I do know how pascal does. In particular what #oberon, for instance regarding GC, and security matters (access rights, etc..).
I spent too much time coding π I can not do anymore typing. I can not play games because I keep thinking that I'd rather code such a game π I can not read book, because I only have technical books π I can not go out because heh there is nothing interesting outside π
@ekaitz_zarraga What kind of questions do you have? I will try to write some interesting documentation. For me it is all obvious π but I have to say there is no proof it works without the code giving the good results π
Sorry for the suspense last night, my code is very slow; I will jump into #foundationdb instead of #sqlite's LSM extension which can't work with parallel threads for some reason. Maybe the problem is somewhere else... anyway the target is foundationdb not sqlite, so let it be.
PS: The search engine work and give sensible results but it is very slow more than 15 seconds for some queries which is not acceptable.
On a more serious note, I made progress with the search engine. Someone may say, this is yet another trick but it is not, babelia is alive and kicking hits. I will show demo when it is done indexing in less than one hours or so.
Wanna be green Scheme wizard. I like to dabble with code, read what people write, to exchange memes. Tell me about your last brilliant idea!I am into #mezangelle.
