@ekaitz_zarraga I believe you've probably heard of my Odysseus web browser, so I'll just say what I'm doing next:
I'm preparing to package it for Debian, Arch, and maybe Guix. And then I'm looking to harvest unvisited links to present as personalized recommendations.
Hopefully that alongside the webfeed discovery support I'm releasing now will help people rely less on central silos! And I've got more planned that way.
@ekaitz_zarraga I'm wrapping Apache POI with Clojure, while I am at it I'm trying to create an intermediate edn representation of an Excel file that can be generated, read, stored and put under some kind of version control
@ekaitz_zarraga I am working on something similar to datomic but versioned in a direct acyclic graph. Like git. At least it is the plan.
Part of the process is getting Ordered Key-Value Store (like leveldb) and Generic Tuple Store (generalization of triple and quadstore) part of SRFI standard.
@ekaitz_zarraga
in the last few days i introduced my son to pygame zero and we managed to make this funny litle thing together: https://gitlab.com/Li__ON/click-the-dots
@alcinnz That's great! If you package it for guix or debian I may give it a look.
Keep us posted as you do. I love to see your updates.
@benni AAAAAW so lovely!
Working with children... ?
@ekaitz_zarraga I did a hotkey launcher for Linux called Superkb, it's published. Language: C.
I am currently working on a media track synchronization tool (you capture with different devices, clocks are not perfect and can drift), not yet published but nearly there. Python.
Also working on a generic Web user interface for PostgreSQL databases (not for administration but for the data). PHP. Partially published. That code is a mess. :-D
@ekaitz_zarraga
In my free time (or what's left) I'm working on a "data oriented" game engine in C++ with modularity in mind (and it's not quite easy with cpp) so I'm trying to do it with as much Lua I can (thanks https://github.com/ThePhD/sol2 )
The goal is not the engine (tho it's funny) it's a little pvp game I'd like to finish someday.
(And eventually open source the engine? I'm not going to compete with Godot or Unity ?)
@alvarezp Good! Keep going!
@Xipiryon Good! I'll keep an eye on it!
