A couple of obvious things to do would be:
- A software package manager based on dat. Package managers currently are based on traditional mirrors on servers.
- A git hosting system based on dat. Something similar to Gitea, but p2p. That would help solve the current dilemmas with Github and Gitlab. -

Facebook's quarterly net income is about $500 million, so that's about $2000 million per year.
The fine is £500,000 or $663279 at current exchange rate.
So they're being fined 0.03% of their yearly income. This will clearly be a major deterrent to Facebook committing privacy violations (sarcasm). -

Fandom of Musklike oligarchs depends upon the fanbase considering them to be heroic randroids, rather than merely uneducated people who had rich parents as is usually the case. If he wants to preserve his status he probably ought to say as little as possible on Twitter.
