@aral @kel @cult the only way we'll escape the corporate surveillance state is by dismantling it. there's only so much individuals can do to avoid it. it's a societal issue, just like poverty, public health, climate instability, etc.

this is what is meant by 'there is no ethical consumption under capitalism'. some form of compromise is made.
