Wim š ¾ (wim_v12e@octodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 29-Apr-2021 12:53:13 CEST Wim š ¾ Yesterday, for the first time in more than a year, I had another conversation class (remote of course) with my Japanese teacher. I'm always struck by how poor I am at conversation ("do chatting") in general, and Japanese conversation in particular because as soon as I can't recall a specific word I'm looking for, I'm stuck. Still, it was good to be able to talk some Japanese again.

It's a story of counting systems, an Edo-era mathematics text and Buddhist scriptures, with a supercomputer and a samurai, so it might even interest you if you are not studying Japanese ^_^
