@aral One difference between IBM's collaboration with Nazis and Amazon's is that back then, normal people didn't buy stuff from IBM - they sold to big businesses only.

Amazon's maybe not profitable solely to their consumer retail market, but if everyone who shops there suddenly stopped, they would certainly notice.

Geary has two projects approved for Outreachy, a paid-internship programme to support people from groups that are underrepresented in tech, to help make their first contributions to a FOSS project.

The first is is looking at improving Geary's user experience with junk email, the second is looking at creating automated mail server testing for Geary.

@fenny @kel @aral @cult ... except that the GNOME Foundation funds one GNOME dev position, for work on GTK+, not on Epiphany.

Ephy is developed mostly by someone who works for Igalia, I believe moslty in their spare time. It uses WebKitGTK, which is developed by Igalia people and others, and is based on WebKit, which is mostly funded by Apple.

If you're going to shit on other people's work, at least get the facts right.
