    I managed to find some more versions, I'm now building #kotlin 0.13.791 from August 2015:

    0.12.470 -> 0.12.852 -> 0.12.1077 -> 0.12.1250 -> 0.13.177 -> 0.13.791

    (0.13.795 is failing to build with 0.13.177, but it builds with 0.13.791, so I'll be able to continue the chain forward)

    However, anything beyond 0.12.470 requires java-jansi, and although there is a #guix package, it doesn't work during the build, failing to find a native library it seems. I use a binary for now.

    Hey #guix! We're preparing a documentation meetup this Saturday, January 15 at 10:30am ET (15:30 UTC). This is the right time to learn about guix, share your knowledge and improve documentation in general. See you soon!

    I got adb and fastboot building from the latest android release in #guix! It was quite difficult because I chose to reimplement the build system. Soong makes too many assumptions and it was too hard for me to make it work outside a huge monolithic source directory.

    Build them from this channel:

    https://framagit.org/tyreunom/guix-android

    Before continuing on packaging the rest of #android, I'll fix cross-building (libcxx is broken) and implement the rest of the importer.

    @aliceYou can have a look at how the guix website and the manuals are generated :)

    @ekaitz_zarragaAndroid Studio only. It's hard to develop outside of it.

    Yay! I released a new version of #nani, a #japanese dictionary app. The new version should be available on #fdroid soon.

    It allows you to download the dictionaries you are interested in (language, features, source, …) and use them offline to search for anything.

    This release is mostly motivated by some small changes in the UI, and small improvements to the dictionaries. It's also a "I'm still alive" message since last release is almost a year old!

    @ekaitz_zarragaSometimes I deal with files like modules/cache/jvm/src/main/java/coursier/cache/internal/SigWinchNativeWindows.java and I don't understand what you mean by deep structure :p@zatnosk

    @ekaitz_zarragaWhen I can't answer a question on IRC and nobody seems to know either, that's also what I recommend. But if you are lucky and the right person is around, you can get help more quickly on IRC.

    Haven't been on IRC much lately, but we really need to lower the hostility. In any case we have a code of conduct that applies to irc (and every other official communication channel). It's just a matter of noticing and enforcing.@cyplo

    @ekaitz_zarragaIf nobody uses them, nobody notices :/ thanks for the help you provived there :)

    I'm a bit surprised about your view of IRC. We definitely have a code of conduct and we want to be welcoming. If you encounter instances where where you (or someone else) is made unconfortable, please speak up! It's not always necessarily obvious (because language or bad habit or whatever).@cyplo

    If you just want your package to work, you can use a binary (although they often make assumptions that aren't true on the guix system). If your goal is to send these as patches to guix proper, you should build everything from source.
