    @ekaitz_zarraga tbh the industry trend in all fields is to make everything into SoCs/SiPs, so… hmm I wonder why wouldn’t you try to go that way with the modem

    @ekaitz_zarraga no, that’s the “mode 7-like” I just mentioned. You can project a 2D plane and then put whatever you want on top.

    No GPU. No FPU. No primitive raycasting or Mode7-like trickery. You use whatever RAM you have wisely to do static calculations with lookup tables. And then the 3D magic happens.
