@technomancy @alexjgriffith I think it was designed to be explicitly for beginners and, to be honest, "functions are values" is not a small mental leap unless you start straight away with Scheme or Haskell.
IMO if you know better you shouldn't use GDScript, you can hook pretty much anything I think

@technomancy @alexjgriffith I don't know lua but I believe you. I am speaking from personal experience, after doing Land of Lisp and much else before that I was like "oh why is lisp 1 so weird" and now it's the other way around. I can't say what's the average experience is like.

I think some people may not know that Google does Man In The Middle shit by default in mobile Chrome? They basically download everything to their servers and then send "optimized" to the client. SSL? HTTPS? Forget it.
There was an opt-out header which website owner could set but they're removing it.
This company doesn't know what privacy is. Or security.

Did some #tuskydev today. Started with list management, refactored some bits and started with editing. Minimal version shouldn't be too hard now.

@zatnosk @ekaitz_zarraga with weapons it's super tricky. I lived in a authoritative country for 20+ years and I imagined that if someone could have enough power they could change it but I learned that unless you educate the people en masse nothing will change.
Guns won't help against tanks & bombs but education could.
